When it comes to betting on football and getting the best bang for our buck, it’s hard to find better odds than those offered on the Bet365 betting platform. As a football punter, it’s the odds at Bet365 I found that set it apart from other bookmakers. Best of all, those odds do not change, regardless of the country you are from, and that is good news for everyone.
However, while my personal opinion on Bet365’s odds is just that, understanding how to read Bet365 odds can be a challenge for bettors new to sports betting. That left me thinking that an article on this particular topic may be helpful as they offer three odds formats, and each format displays odds differently.
Bet365 Football Odds

With football being one of my favourite sports to be on, it is hard not to get excited by the odds at Bet365. Thankfully, I have noticed that Bet365 really does offer the best football odds, and this is especially beneficial for me as Bet365 updates its odds in real-time, meaning I can bet on a match with confidence versus wasting time wondering if I am getting the best odds.
- Champions League
- Europa League
- Premier League
- Bundesliga 1
- Serie A
- La Liga
- Ligue 1
- Copa Libertadores
The nice side to football odds at Bet365 is they are the same regardless of the odds format I chose for any given match. This is particularly beneficial to me as I like to change the odds format I am using. Even more, the odds remain consistent and above average, regardless of whether you are betting pre-match or live.
What’s nice is this applies to featured matches, upcoming and the various different leagues and competitions offered by Bet365. Considering they cover football matches from around the world, that is especially valuable as their market coverage is excellent. Most matches offer over one hundred markets, and knowing the odds are competitive makes that a game changer, no pun intended.

How to Read Bet365 Odds
When I registered with bet365, I noticed that I had the option to display odds in three different formats. The first of those was American, while the other two were decimal and fractional. While I understand American, decimal and fractional odds, I felt it worthwhile to explain the differences between the three.
- American: The American odds format (i.e. +125) displays odds with a plus (+) sign or a minus (-) sign in front of a number. This number of the percentage you win is based on the amount you bet.
- Fractional: Fractional odds (i.e. 5/4) is the format I tend to prefer as it displays odds as one number over another. The easiest way to understand fractional odds means that for every £1 you stake, you will receive £2,25.
- Decimal: Decimal odds (i.e. 2.25) are similar in terms of understanding as you only need to multiply the odds by the amount you bet.
Final Thoughts on Bet365 Odds
Knowing how to read bet365 odds is an integral part of the sports betting experience and one my experience has shown makes a big difference over the long term. Experience has also taught me that the odds at bet365 are among the best in the industry, and that applies to local and international sporting events.
If you want to bet on football, or for that matter, any other sporting events, you may want to consider bet365 as I did. Not only that, but placing a bet and changing the odds formats to your personal preference.
